Due to an exciting year of growth, we are now looking for a Junior Product Manager to join the existing team in managing events from initial planning and contracting the services required through to product & delivery of the event. Primarily his role will be within the Marathon Tours & Travel running team but work on other brands is also possible at any stage.

Key Responsabilties

  • Build a portfolio of events from the planning to the operational delivery
  • Liaise with hotels, transport companies, event organisers and other external suppliers
  • Manage the product and keep the website up to date
  • Ensure the product is loaded correctly on to the website for sale
  • Constantly monitor the sales position of product and suggest appropriate course of action depending upon the position
  • Work closely with our global, internal Commercial, Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Assist customer service teams with customer queries
  • Assist in new product development to grow our portfolio globally

Skills And Experience

  • Experience using booking, inventory, reservation or CRM systems would be beneficial.
  • Good commercial awareness and an interest in managing budgets and product performance.
  • Experience in product, operations, events, travel, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • An understanding of health, safety and sustainability principles is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
