It is the responsibility of our product marketing, communications and marketing planning teams to ensure that the Nissan brand and product portfolio are successfully communicated and maintain a strong presence in the UK marketplace. Nissan continues to optimise product development and deliver highly innovative technology creating truly state-of-the-art vehicles. The teams work closely with world renowned advertising and PR agencies to support the delivery of exciting initiatives – from creating the world’s first remote control car, the 100% electric ice-cream van, to award winning partnerships campaigns with our UEFA Champions League and International Cricket Council properties.

Overall Purpose of Role
The mission of the Junior Product Manager is to support the Product Section Manager in providing data analysis to support vehicle line performance, understanding the product and competitive arena, and facilitating decision making processes with timely and accurate information.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support the Product Section Manager in building a long term product strategy according to lifecycle and performance priorities of the portfolio.
- Support product presentations and events.
- Product:
- Propose, create & maintain vehicle specification in line with customer demand and competitiveness requirements.
- Performance management:
- Input into annual, quarterly reforecast, monthly and weekly performance management cycle (from Business Plan to weekly tactical).
- Propose actions to seize opportunities.
- Competitiveness:
- Monitor the competitive landscape for the model lines.
- Interrogate residual value and centralised pricing reports.
- Validate pricing with HQ and local teams.
- New Model Launch:
- Ensure implementation of launch strategy when relevant and work/support on all different milestones prior to a new model launch or model year update.
- Communication:
- Ensure all relevant product details are communicated accurately and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaison, Briefing & Validation:
- Validate all product communication and brochure assets.
- Ensure all product submissions are accurate including CAP and MVRIS data submissions.
- Provide expert product knowledge/advice as required.
- Connected Car Services:
- Lead and support the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Connected Car Services across the Nissan portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Digital, Aftersales, CRM) to ensure alignment with product strategy and customer expectations.
- Monitor performance and customer uptake of connected services, proposing enhancements and countermeasures where necessary.
- Act as the product expert for Connected Car Services, providing input into marketing, training, and communication materials.
