Job Title: Junior Product Marketing Manager

Location: Kentec Electronics Ltd
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract initially, with potential to become permanent
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum, subject to experience
Role Purpose
The Junior Product Marketing Manager will provide product marketing support across the Product Management, Sales and Marketing functions.
The role will support the development and delivery of clear, accurate and commercially relevant product information for internal teams and customers. This will include producing product datasheets, presentations, training materials, sales support content and product information for marketing communications.
Working closely with Product Management, Sales, Technical and Marketing colleagues, the role will help ensure that product information is accurate, consistent and aligned with the Company's product and commercial strategy.
The position provides an excellent development opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career within Product Marketing and Product Management.
Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing & Communications
- Prepare, update and maintain product datasheets, presentations and other product-related materials.
- Develop product presentations and supporting materials for internal training and Sales team training.
- Provide accurate product information and content to support brochures, website updates, customer presentations and other external marketing communications.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure product messaging is clear, accurate and commercially relevant.
- Help maintain consistency across product communications and ensure materials reflect approved product positioning.
- Support the development of product launch and campaign materials.
Sales Support
- Provide the Sales team with accurate and timely product information.
- Prepare product presentations, comparison materials and supporting information for customer discussions.
- Support Sales colleagues with product positioning and key product messages.
- Assist with preparation for customer meetings, including presentations, product information packs and comparison information.
- Coordinate and follow up product-related actions arising from customer and Sales meetings.

Market & Competitor Insight
- Conduct competitor and market research to support Product Management decision-making.
- Assist with competitor product comparisons and product positioning reviews.
- Support market pricing analysis and maintain relevant competitor information.
- Monitor market developments and competitor activity relevant to assigned product areas.
- Gather and organise feedback from Sales teams and customers to help identify market trends and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with Product Management, Technical, Sales and Marketing colleagues to confirm the accuracy of product information.
- Ensure appropriate technical input and approvals are obtained before product information is released.
- Support product launches, sales campaigns and other product communication activities.
- Build effective working relationships across departments to support successful product delivery and communication.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Technology, Communications or another relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in technical products and B2B markets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across different departments.
- Willingness to learn and develop within Product Marketing and Product Management.
Desirable
- Up to two years' experience within Product Marketing, Marketing, Product Management, Technical Sales or a related commercial role.
- Experience working within a B2B or technical product environment.
- Exposure to technical documentation or product datasheets.
- Experience supporting customer-facing presentations or Sales teams.
- Understanding of competitor research, market analysis or product positioning.

Development
The role is intended to provide a structured development pathway into Product Marketing. As the successful candidate develops their product knowledge, commercial capability and experience, there may be opportunities to progress towards more senior Product Marketing responsibilities.
The position will initially be offered on a fixed-term basis to assess role scope, capability fit and ongoing business requirements. Subject to satisfactory performance and business approval, the position may subsequently become permanent.
Where the position converts to permanent employment, a six-month probationary period will apply.
Due to the potential customer-facing requirements of the role, a car allowance may be considered depending on business travel requirements and Company policy.
