Junior Project Coordinator – Interior Design
Full Time | London NW2 | Hybrid Working
About InStyle Direct
Founded in 2004, InStyle Direct is an established London-based interior design and furnishing company providing a one-stop service to property developers, investors and homeowners. We deliver residential furnishing and interior design projects ranging from individual apartments and bespoke homes to show apartments and large-scale residential developments.
We are now looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Junior Project Coordinator to join our Interior Design team in a newly created role.
The Role
Working closely with our Lead Interior Designers, you will help coordinate the execution and delivery of projects from design approval through procurement, installation and completion.
Sitting between Interior Design, Procurement and Project Delivery, this role would suit someone who has a genuine interest in interiors and furniture, but particularly enjoys the organisation, problem-solving, liaison and coordination required to bring a project to life.
You will work closely with our Design, Sales, Administration, Warehouse and Installation teams, as well as our established network of suppliers, helping to ensure projects are executed efficiently and delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Lead Interior Designers with the coordination and execution of multiple live projects.
- Maintain project programmes, deadlines, trackers and outstanding actions to ensure projects progress efficiently and on time.
- Act as a key point of liaison between Design, suppliers, procurement, administration, warehouse, logistics and installation teams.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm pricing, product availability and lead times.
- Assist with furniture and product sourcing as directed by the Lead Designer.
- Check approved specifications, quantities, finishes and product information prior to ordering.
- Coordinate and execute the ordering process following project approval, working with our administration team to raise and process purchase orders.
- Ensure orders are correctly placed, confirmed, tracked and delivered in line with project requirements.
- Use OrderWise to review stock availability and support the coordination and tracking of project orders.
- Proactively liaise with suppliers, chase outstanding actions and identify potential delays or issues before they impact project delivery.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal teams and suppliers regarding delivery and installation requirements.
- Support the smooth execution of installations, ensuring relevant information, products and outstanding actions are coordinated.
- Manage snagging, replacements, damaged or missing items and outstanding deliveries through to resolution.
- Support routine client liaison where required and ensure accurate project information is maintained throughout.
- Provide clear and regular project updates to the Lead Designer, escalating any design, commercial or client decisions requiring their input.

About You
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, adaptable and solution-focused, with the confidence to follow tasks through to completion.
- A genuine interest in interiors, furniture and residential property.
- Commercially aware and comfortable working with pricing, budgets and spreadsheets.
- A confident communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers, clients and internal teams.
- Able to understand floor plans, furniture layouts and product specifications.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience using OrderWise or a similar stock, inventory or order management system would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a similar project coordination, project support or project delivery role would be advantageous, although we would also consider candidates with strong transferable skills.
- A qualification or relevant experience in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Furniture, Property or a related field is desirable, but is not essential.
