Junior Project Coordinator

Roc Technologies is looking for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our growing Cabling team, working on major infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering successful projects. Whether you're already working in project support or you're an organised administrator looking to transition into project management, we'll provide the support and development to help you succeed.

Working closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders, you'll play a key role in coordinating the successful delivery of critical infrastructure and cabling projects by:

  • Providing day-to-day project administration and coordination support.
  • Preparing, maintaining and organising project documentation.
  • Tracking project actions, risks, issues and key deliverables.
  • Supporting project reporting, governance and compliance activities.
  • Coordinating project meetings, minutes and stakeholder communications.
  • Producing regular project updates and management reports.
  • Helping ensure project milestones, deadlines and reporting requirements are achieved.
  • Supporting multiple live projects across the AWE programme.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in Project Management.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in project coordination or project administration.
  • Exposure to infrastructure, construction, telecoms, engineering or structured cabling environments.
  • Experience supporting project reporting, governance or PMO activities.
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2, Microsoft Project or Primavera.

Additional Information

  • This role is primarily based at Aldermaston with hybrid working available.
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
