Junior Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Description
Join our highly skilled and dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality, efficient high voltage monitoring solutions and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
We are seeking a Junior Project Engineer who will be responsible for:
- Creating detailed customer engineering drawings.
- Developing comprehensive technical specification documents and checklists.
- Designing bespoke mechanically sound components, including hydraulic flange fittings.
- Collecting project requirements and understanding customer needs and preferences.
- Serving as a specialised point of contact for customer inquiries regarding our HV products.
- Producing accurate and detailed engineering drawings for customer projects.
- Developing and maintaining technical specification documents and checklists.
- Ensuring all designs, such as hydraulic flange fittings, meet mechanical integrity and safety standards.
- Collaborating with senior engineers and other departments to ensure project requirements are met.
- Supporting the implementation of HV monitoring solutions by providing technical expertise.
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to project designs.

Qualifications

- A minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with CAD software packages (Solid-Edge preferably) including creating 2D technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.
