Connect2Kent are looking for a proactive Junior Project Lead and Systems Analyst to join their team. This role would suit an aspiring project professional or analyst with strong data and stakeholder management skills, offering the opportunity to gain exposure to business transformation, systems development, and commercial decision making.

Who we are

Recruitment Partnerships is a Division within Commercial Services Group (CSG), providing recruitment and workforce solutions to Kent County Council and a number of other Councils across the country. As part of CSG, we deliver high-quality, flexible recruitment services that support public sector organisations with their workforce needs, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting business growth and transformation initiatives, ensuring systems, processes, and data provide meaningful insight and drive effective decision making. This is a role where analytical thinking, collaboration, and sound judgement are essential, with responsibility for supporting business improvement projects, reporting frameworks, and system development activities across the Recruitment Division.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and reviewing workflows between systems and business processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Supporting business change initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement activities.
  • Analysing and modelling data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Preparing project updates, dashboards, and management information for a range of stakeholders.
  • Working closely with senior leaders, business managers, and technical teams to support strategic objectives.
  • Supporting the development and enhancement of reports to improve business insight and decision making.
  • Assisting with CRM data management, implementation activities, and system improvement projects.
  • Supporting financial planning activities through data analysis, budgeting, and performance reporting.
  • Contributing to business intelligence initiatives that enable data-led decision making.
  • Supporting the rollout of new systems, processes, and user guidance materials.
  • Provide first-line support via phone, email, and live chat in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Occasional travel to Joint Venture and partner sites where required.

What we’re looking for

  • Knowledge of recruitment systems, recruitment industry processes, or agency recruitment legislation would be advantageous.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage priorities, and support the delivery of projects from planning through to implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience managing or supporting multiple data-focused projects and competing priorities.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work effectively.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.

What you’ll get in return
