As we continue to deliver innovative programmes across the business, we're looking for a Junior Project Manager to join the team and help turn great ideas into successful outcomes.
Reporting to the Innovation Programme Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a diverse range of projects from planning through to successful completion. This is an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on project management experience in a role where you'll be trusted to take ownership, work with stakeholders across the business, and make a genuine contribution from day one.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Junior Project Manager, you'll support the delivery of projects that turn innovative ideas into tangible business outcomes. Working with stakeholders and project teams across the business, you'll coordinate activities, manage progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with governance standards.

Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the delivery of small-scale projects from planning through to completion, developing project plans, coordinating day-to-day activities, and ensuring key milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Monitoring project performance, managing costs, identifying risks and issues, and proactively implementing solutions to keep delivery on track and achieve successful outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, providing clear communication and regular updates to ensure alignment, engagement, and a positive project experience.
- Coordinating project teams to foster collaboration, align priorities, and bring stakeholders together to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Producing and maintaining project documentation, reports, and governance materials while ensuring all deliverables meet agreed quality standards and project controls.
- Working closely with Transformation Management Office and the wider project management and innovation community to embed best practice, maintain governance compliance, and continuously develop your project management skills and expertise.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a proactive and organised project professional who is confident engaging with stakeholders, comfortable working within governance frameworks, and capable of balancing competing priorities. You'll be a self-starter who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience delivering projects from initiation through to completion, achieving objectives on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Experience working in an innovation-focused environment, supporting the testing, validation, and scaling of new solutions.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, translating situations with undefined processes into clear actions, priorities, and outcomes.
- Experience operating within a PMO, project delivery, or similar environment, supporting successful project outcomes through structured delivery approaches.
- Desirable: Knowledge of project management methodologies and delivery approaches including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, with experience using tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Trello, and Microsoft Office.
