Salary Range: £36,000 to £40,000

What We Do
The Project Management team leads the planning and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and achieve their intended outcomes.
The Role
The Junior Project Manager is responsible for organising and coordinating projects and events to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and ensuring the required quality standards. You will also be responsible for supporting the PMO Manager when required.
You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and be committed to managing a variety of projects. You will have solid experience in project management and ideally a good understanding in the Higher Education sector.

Role and Responsibilities
- To assist and manage a range of projects across the organisation.
- To monitor and report on project progression and collaborate with the various teams.
- To build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders and to coordinate project teams.
- To ensure that work is of the highest standard with outstanding attention to detail.
- To manage and deliver events both internal and external to GBS.
- To research and organise information and produce accessible briefing documents.

Essential Skills and Experience
- Degree in Project Management, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and events.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., MS Projects, JIRA).
- Strong organisational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- A strong understanding of project management methodologies (such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and formal certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMI).
