Role Description
The Junior Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in St Albans. This position supports the sales team by managing incoming inquiries, preparing quotes, and following up with prospective and existing customers. Daily responsibilities include:

The Junior Sales Manager builds strong relationships with clients, supports senior sales staff, and consistently represents Doors of Steel in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
- Basic sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, with an interest in developing advanced sales techniques.
- Organizational and time management skills, including accurate record-keeping and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with common office software (such as email, spreadsheets, and CRM systems) and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving customer and order issues.
- Relevant experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is beneficial; knowledge of construction, manufacturing, or building materials is a plus.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
