Astute’s Renewables Team Recruitment for Junior Project Manager

Astute’s Renewables Team is partnering with an independent solar and storage O&M provider committed to professional development and sustainability to recruit a Junior Project Manager for its High Wycombe office.

The strategically important Junior Project Manager role comes with a salary up to £28,000, company pension, private healthcare, and 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, along with a suite of other wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will

  • Manage activities across a portfolio of ground-mounted solar sites using project management tools
  • Plan, define, and coordinate project resource requirements
  • Ensure resources are delivered on time, in the right condition, and within budget
  • Oversee the work of Project Assistants based in India
  • Lead client satisfaction reviews and produce management reports
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Health & Safety, and environmental standards
  • Work in line with the company’s Integrated Management System to support quality and HSE objectives

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience in a similar junior project management role, ideally within renewables or construction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with project management tools
  • Good knowledge of quality assurance and Health & Safety principles
  • Full UK driving licence

The Junior Project Manager role would suit someone who is:

  • Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously
