Job Title: Junior Project Manager (Large Format Print)

Job Type: 12 Month Contract

Location: Wandsworth, London

Start Date: ASAP

Nationwide Travel Required

We are not looking for the finished article. We are looking for someone hungry, driven and ready to learn fast in a real environment. If you are the kind of person who gets things done, takes ownership without being asked and thrives when no two days look the same, this could be the role that changes the direction of your career.

About Us

Printflow Communications is a London-based large format print and visual installations company. We design, produce and install graphic branding for commercial interiors and retail environments across the UK, working with some of the most recognised brands in the world. We are in the "WOW" business, adding impact and personality to spaces.

We are a close-knit, fast-moving team and we expect a lot from the people who join us. In return, we offer real responsibility from day one and the chance to grow quickly in a company that rewards people who show up and deliver.

The Role

This is a junior project management role designed for someone at the start of their career who is ready to get their hands dirty and learn by doing. You will work directly alongside our Operations Director and be given real responsibility for live projects from an early stage.

We will support you, guide you and invest in your development. What we will not do is handhold. This is a role for someone who wants to figure things out, ask the right questions and come back with solutions rather than problems.

You will be involved in scheduling production runs, liaising with our production team, reviewing visual proofs before they go to print, coordinating installers on site and representing Printflow professionally to our clients. Some projects will require travel across the UK, early starts, late finishes and the occasional overnight stay. That is the nature of what we do, and we need someone who accepts that as part of the deal.

Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Supporting the delivery of projects on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards
  • Building an understanding of each project from internal handover through to final sign-off
  • Reviewing and signing off visual proofs before production in line with client brief and specification
  • Scheduling production in alignment with installation programmes and client deadlines
  • Coordinating with our approved production partner to ensure clear timelines and delivery sequencing
  • Attending site when required to support installations and ensure quality on the ground
  • Anticipating problems before they escalate and proposing solutions
  • Communicating clearly with the Operations Director and the wider team at all times

Minimum Requirements

The following are non-negotiable requirements for this role. Please do not apply if you are unable to meet all three.

  • Holds a clean UK full driving licence
  • Has the right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role
  • Is able to travel nationally as a regular part of the role

What We Are Looking For

Beyond the minimum requirements, we are not looking for the finished article. Whilst experience in large format print is preferred, it is not essential. Attitude is.

We can teach the technical side. We cannot teach someone to care, to take ownership or to keep going when things get difficult. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine desire to build a career in project management and will commit fully to this contract
  • Takes responsibility as a default, not when asked
  • Is organised, thorough and follows through on every commitment they make
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues and suppliers
  • Is calm under pressure and solution-focused when things do not go to plan
  • Understands that success in this role will require hard work, long days at times and a willingness to go above and beyond

A degree or equivalent qualification is welcome but not required. What matters is that you can demonstrate the mindset above.
