Junior Project Manager

Location: Marlow
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000
Holiday: 23 days + bank holidays

We are currently working with an established construction business based in Marlow who are looking to appoint a Junior Project Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in a construction, engineering or project environment who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop into a fully-fledged Project Manager.

The Role

As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the delivery of a range of construction projects from planning through to completion. Working closely with senior project management, site teams, subcontractors and clients, you will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the planning and coordination of construction projects
  • Assisting with project programmes, schedules and budgets
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Assisting with procurement and subcontractor coordination
  • Supporting project documentation, reports and project records
  • Identifying and escalating project risks or issues
  • Attending project and site meetings
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and keen to build a long-term career within project management.

You will ideally have:

  • 1–2 years' experience within construction, engineering or project management
  • A relevant qualification in Construction, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline is desirable
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
