Location: London
Salary: Depending on experience
Type: Full time
Posted: 07/02/2026
Job Description
This role is with an international, high-end office furniture manufacturer renowned for its premium products and exceptional client experience. The company is looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the operational delivery of client orders, from initial enquiry through to final installation and aftercare. It is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their project management career to build hands-on experience within a premium manufacturing environment, working alongside an established team.
Working closely with senior colleagues, you will help oversee the order lifecycle, assisting with day-to-day operational activities including quoting, pricing support, client enquiries, and post-sale service. The role involves close coordination with sales, production, logistics, and installation teams, as well as international partners, to keep orders accurate, production workflows on schedule, and delivery and installation running smoothly. You will also gain exposure to stock control, warehouse oversight, and quality control procedures.
As you develop, you will take on increasing ownership, contributing to improvements in efficiency, cost control, and scalability while upholding premium quality standards. Day to day this means helping to monitor quality control, supporting health and safety compliance, and resolving operational and client issues promptly to build strong long-term relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

It suits a proactive, solutions-focused individual who can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will not need years of project management behind you. What matters is some relevant experience or a genuine interest in manufacturing, furniture, interiors, or a related premium product sector, together with strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn order fulfilment, logistics, and installation workflows.
You will be a confident communicator, comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and schedules, with high attention to detail and a commitment to quality, service, and health and safety. There is clear scope to grow into full project ownership.
Requirements
- Some experience in a project coordination, operations, or administrative role — ideally within manufacturing, furniture, interiors, or a related premium product sector, though a genuine interest in the sector counts for more than years served.
- An appetite to learn end-to-end operational delivery, from order fulfilment through logistics to installation.
- Confidence supporting day-to-day activities such as quoting, pricing support, and client enquiries.
- A professional, personable manner with clients and the willingness to grow into a trusted point of contact.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to track multiple orders and schedules without losing the detail.
- Comfortable coordinating with sales, production, logistics, and installation teams, including international partners.
- Exposure to stock control, warehouse, or quality control processes is welcome but not essential.
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with an eye for how processes could run better.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment, managing competing priorities.
- Willingness to undertake formal health & safety training and certification as required.
