About Us

Hubber is building the next generation infrastructure ecosystem for commercial electric transport in cities, delivering high powered sites for fleets, from ride-hailing and parcel delivery to field services, rental and autonomous vehicles.

Founded in 2024 by an ex-Tesla team, Hubber has secured over £60m of capital, announced a partnership with Uber and already delivered 10+ projects. The next two years take it from a handful of sites to hundreds, and this role is a rare chance to join a company making the jump from start-up to scale-up.

The Role

Every site is a process from land to first charge, through design, planning, grid connection and construction, with many stakeholders. Run ten of those in parallel and it equals hundreds of live actions, dozens of dependencies, and a single missed date anywhere costs a month of revenue and keeps our customers waiting.

You are the person who makes it go faster. You track every site against its programme, drive every action and document, and see the collision four weeks before it lands. When something breaks, you arrive with solutions and a recommendation. Your weekly report is how the founders see the whole portfolio, and the decisions they take from it move the company. Get this right and Hubber builds faster than anyone else in the market. Get it wrong and the whole business slows down.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is obsessive about bringing order to chaos.

Core Responsibilities

  • Track every live site against its programme: milestones, dependencies, lead times, and slippage, flagged early.
  • Run the document register for every site: drawings, surveys, DNO and ICP correspondence, planning, contractor documentation, and permits.
  • Produce the weekly site progress report for the founders: RAG status, blockers, and decisions required.
  • Instruct surveys, run progress meetings and design reviews, and issue actions within 24 hours.
  • Chase, unblock, and close out with consultants, contractors, landlords, and network operators.
  • Raise purchase orders, track invoices and variations, and obtain competing quotes.

What We Value

  • Obsessive organization: Everything written down, tracked, and findable. You notice the missing signature and the action nobody picked up.
  • Speed with judgement: You make the call on incomplete information, state the assumption, and move.
  • Ownership: A slipped date on someone else's workstream is your problem.
  • Directness: Clear and brief with contractors, consultants, and founders alike.
  • Positive energy: Someone who can lift the team around them.

What We Require

  • 2 to 4 years coordinating or assisting on projects in construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities, or real estate development.
  • Fluency in programme and tracking tools (MS Project or equivalent). AI proficiency a bonus.
  • Exposure to construction, grid connections, planning applications, or a project management qualification is a plus, not a requirement.
