Junior Property Manager
£30,000 + Bonus | Hybrid Working (1 Day WFH) | Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Location: Reading
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Property Manager to join a growing Build to Rent platform specialising in high-quality residential homes across the UK.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop their career within property management, maintenance operations, or the Build to Rent sector. You will work closely with operational teams, contractors, and residents to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard and residents receive an exceptional service.
The Role
As a Junior Property Manager, you will support the day-to-day delivery of maintenance operations across a portfolio of residential properties. You'll be responsible for coordinating repairs, managing contractor relationships, supporting void management processes, and ensuring maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a fast-growing business while receiving ongoing support and development.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate reactive and planned maintenance works.
- Manage resident enquiries and maintenance requests.
- Communicate with residents regarding repair progress and resolutions.
- Liaise with contractors and field teams to ensure works are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Monitor maintenance performance and follow up on outstanding issues.
Void & Turnaround Management
- Support the coordination of property turnarounds and void periods.
- Arrange and manage pre-move-out and void inspections.
- Ensure properties are ready for occupation in line with company standards and service levels.
Contractor & Supplier Management
- Build strong relationships with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor contractor performance and escalate issues where required.
- Support procurement activities and help ensure value for money.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate property and maintenance records.
- Assist with reporting on maintenance activity and contractor performance.
- Use data and systems to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused, and eager to build a career within residential property management.
Requirements
- Experience within residential property, maintenance coordination, customer service, or a related field.
- Build to Rent or residential property experience is advantageous.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using systems, data, and reporting tools.
- Positive, proactive, and keen to learn.
- Interest in pursuing professional qualifications such as ARLA is desirable.
