Junior Buyer

Are you a graduate looking to start your career in Purchasing and Supply Chain?

Do you enjoy working with numbers, analysing information and solving problems?

Would you like to join a high-precision engineering and aerospace manufacturing environment where you can genuinely develop your career?

I’m currently recruiting for a Junior Buyer to join an established purchasing team in a varied and commercially focused role.

This opportunity would be particularly suitable for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in purchasing, procurement or supply chain. Degrees in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or a similar analytical subject would be particularly relevant, although other degree backgrounds will also be considered.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Previous purchasing or supply chain experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential. This could be an excellent first career opportunity for a graduate with the right attitude, commercial awareness and willingness to develop.

There are also strong development opportunities, including practical procurement experience, internal training and the potential to work towards CIPS qualifications.
