Junior QA Engineer

As a Junior QA Engineer, your mission is simple: try to break our software before our customers do. You don’t need a background in testing to start here. We are looking for inquisitive minds who enjoy solving puzzles and have a "what happens if I click this?" attitude.

You will start by learning the ropes of manual testing, exploring our games to ensure they are high-quality and easy to use, while we support you in learning the technical skills to grow into an Automation Engineer.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Exploratory Testing: Getting hands-on with our products to find bugs, glitches, or confusing user experiences.
  • Bug Reporting: Clearly documenting what went wrong so our developers can fix it.
  • Test Planning: Helping to write "test cases" (the step-by-step instructions we use to check new features).
  • Collaborating: Working closely with developers and product managers to understand how new features are supposed to work.
  • Continuous Learning: Dedicating time each week to learn the technical side of QA, including JavaScript for automation and how APIs connect the modern web.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
