Junior Quantitative Researcher

We're partnering with a leading market maker specialising in ETFs that's looking to grow its research team. They're one of the top liquidity providers by daily trading volume across the markets they trade, and pair that scale with a genuinely collaborative culture: minimal red tape, high autonomy, and research that feeds directly into live strategies.

What you'll do:

  • Apply mathematical rigour to research and build predictive models
  • Work across a broad toolkit, including regression, time series analysis, statistical modelling and feature engineering
  • Partner closely with traders and engineers to refine and improve existing strategies

Who you are:

  • MSc or PhD in a STEM discipline
  • 0 to 2 years of finance experience. Fresh graduates with relevant internships are very welcome, and experience with derivatives or exotics at a bank is a strong plus
  • Strong Python skills are essential
  • Right to work in the UK, as sponsorship isn't available at present
  • Able to start within the next six months
