About the Position
Epic Travel is looking for a Junior Recruiter who will be responsible for managing the initial stages of contact and engagement with candidates, leading to a warm handoff to a Recruiter. This position follows a night shift schedule and operates under a remote work setup, with some days required on-site.

What You'll Do
- Own and manage a set of assigned job requisitions; sourcing candidates through handoff to a Recruiter.
- Leverage the company database to further expand the network of qualified candidates through referrals and other channels.
- Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to source potential candidates.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Develop, monitor and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates for future/potential positions; keep updated and detailed record of contact information, skill sets, notes, and job search preferences in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Call candidate references and prepare reference forms.
- Schedule and conduct introductions with newly submitted candidates.
- Qualify candidates for open positions and submit to client facilities per submission guidelines.
- Maintain strong communication with candidates via phone and email from the initial application to Recruiter hand-off.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Participate in cross-training initiatives and provide support across teams, assisting designated recruiters or groups as needed.
- Assist with the completion of special/ad hoc projects, as assigned.

What You Bring
- One year of experience in recruiting, inside sales, or outbound calls. A college degree can substitute for experience.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language as required for effective performance of job duties.
- Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job’s impact to the organization.
- Work with electronic hardware and software applications specific to the role.
- Work independently, see business needs and proactively accomplish them for the betterment of their team and the organization.
- Analyze work, set goals, develop plans of action, utilize time.
- Proactively obtain and share information tailored to the audience.
- Attend to the needs and expectations of customers.
