Want to build a proper career in recruitment rather than spend your first year doing admin around the edges?
C&C Search is looking for an ambitious Junior HR Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist HR, Reward & Talent team.
You’ll receive hands-on training, genuine market exposure and early responsibility. You’ll learn how to source and assess brilliant candidates, understand client briefs, build trusted relationships and ultimately develop your own specialist recruitment market.
What you’ll learn and own
- Candidate sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals and proactive search
- Boolean searching and market mapping
- Candidate screening and assessment
- Writing strong candidate profiles and shortlist summaries
- Managing candidate pipelines and CRM data
- Supporting candidates through interviews and offers
- Learning HR, Reward and Talent career paths and market trends
- Joining client briefings and debriefs
- Supporting business development and market-intelligence activity
- Gradually developing your own specialist niche

Who we’re looking for
You may have 0–18 months’ experience in recruitment, resourcing or HR, or you may be coming from a strong transferable background and know recruitment is the career you want.
More importantly, you’ll be:
- Ambitious and commercially motivated
- Confident communicating by phone and in writing
- Highly organised
- Curious and quick to learn
- Resilient and comfortable working towards targets
- Coachable and able to apply feedback quickly
- Proactive while still being a genuine team player

Package: £26,000–£35,000 base + uncapped commission, 25 days’ holiday plus birthday, New Year’s Eve and a gifted Christmas Eve half-day, healthcare, life insurance, enhanced maternity support and career development.
