Job Description

Junior Recruitment Officer – Temporary

Purpose of the Role

To provide temporary recruitment and administrative support to the Human Capital team, with a primary focus on high-volume Call Centre recruitment.

The role will support the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently and all recruitment administration and records are accurate and complete.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process for high-volume Call Centre roles, including candidate sourcing, CV screening, telephonic screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, trackers, and candidate files, and assist with assessments, background and reference checks, offers, and onboarding administration.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities and documentation comply with company policies, requirements, and applicable recruitment governance standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12 required.
  • A relevant HR qualification would be advantageous.
  • 1–2 years’ recruitment and/or HR administration experience preferred.
  • Exposure to high-volume or Call Centre recruitment, including candidate sourcing and screening, would be advantageous.

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
