At Grundon, we are on the lookout for a dynamic, passionate, and driven Junior Report Developer to join our Finance team based in Benson.
By joining Grundon, your contributions will make a real difference as we work together by showing the world that there is more to waste than it seems.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will play an important role in supporting our mission of leaving a better planet for future generations. You will design, develop, and maintain reporting systems and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making. Working closely with the Business Analyst and Database Engineer, you will translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions, bridging the gap between raw data and meaningful, actionable insights.

What will you do
- Automate data extraction, transformation and modelling to create reliable, efficient reporting solutions.
- Build engaging, interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, making complex data easy to understand and act on.
- Design intuitive, user-friendly visualisations that showcase key business metrics, trends and opportunities.
- Ensure reports are accurate, reliable and fit for purpose, proactively troubleshooting data and performance issues.
- Partner with Business Analysts, IT teams and stakeholders to understand requirements, shape solutions and turn business questions into meaningful insights.
- Support data quality initiatives, maintain clear documentation and promote consistent reporting standards and best practices.
- Complete ONS surveys accurately and on time, providing high-quality data and feedback that supports wider research and analysis.

About you
- At least 2 years’ experience in business intelligence, data analysis or report development, or equivalent experience gained through other routes.
- Experience with DAX essential
- Power Query (M) desirable but not essential.
- Experience designing and delivering interactive reports and dashboards, particularly using Power BI.
- The ability to explore and interpret complex datasets and turn findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Confidence working with stakeholders to understand their needs, ask the right questions and develop effective reporting solutions.
- Methodical approach to developing, testing and maintaining reports, with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Familiarity with Excel, Jet Reports, NAV, Business Central and SQL would be beneficial, but is not essential
