Junior Freelance Retoucher (1-Month Contract)

A beauty brand based in Greater Manchester is looking for a Junior Freelance Retoucher to join the creative team on a one-month booking. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong retouching skills who is excited by the evolving world of AI-generated imagery.
You'll be responsible for retouching AI-generated lifestyle product imagery, ensuring every image is polished, realistic and aligned with the brand's visual standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Retouch AI-generated lifestyle product imagery to a high commercial standard.
- Refine and enhance product images while maintaining a natural, premium finish.
- Ensure colour accuracy, consistency and attention to detail across image sets.
- Work closely with the creative team to deliver assets within agreed deadlines.
- Apply quality control to AI-generated imagery, identifying and correcting inconsistencies or imperfections.
- Prepare final assets for digital marketing, e-commerce and social channels.

Requirements
- Strong retouching skills with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality commercial work.
- Experience retouching product imagery.
- Experience using AI image generation and editing tools within a creative workflow.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and non-destructive retouching techniques.
- Strong eye for detail, lighting, colour and composition.
- Ability to manage workload and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Beauty, cosmetics or skincare experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
