About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Administrator to join our client's team in Okehampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in sales administration, with the opportunity to learn about the business, build their skills, and progress within the role over time. You’ll provide essential administrative and customer support to the sales team, helping to ensure enquiries, orders, and day-to-day sales processes are handled efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the sales team
- Process customer orders from start to finish, liaising with multiple teams across the business
- Act as the first point of contact for customers by responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Updating databases and maintaining accurate customer records and internal systems

About You
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good IT skills and confidence using computers
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Keen to develop professionally and take on new responsibilities
- Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team
- Based in or around Okehampton, or within a reasonable commuting distance
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge or experience of the building or construction industry
- Previous experience in a sales, administration, or customer service environment
