Role Description
The Junior Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Piccadilly, working across Michael Rose London boutiques in Burlington Arcade. This position focuses on greeting and assisting customers on the sales floor, presenting jewellery pieces, and offering product information to support confident purchasing decisions. Daily responsibilities include handling sales transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting inventory management, including stock checks and display preparation. The Junior Sales Executive will help keep the showroom presentable, assist with merchandising, and collaborate with senior team members to deliver a consistently high standard of service. The role also involves learning about gemstones, designs, and brand history to build expertise and contribute to long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, confident guidance to a diverse clientele.
- Sales and retail skills, including experience with point-of-sale systems, basic cash handling, and working toward individual or team targets.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, supporting accurate record-keeping, stock management, and well-presented displays.
- Interest in jewellery, luxury goods, or fashion, with a willingness to learn about gemstones, craftsmanship, and bespoke design processes.
- Professional, polished presentation and a courteous manner suitable for a high-end retail environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Piccadilly, including weekends or peak trading hours, as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
- Basic numeracy and computer skills; additional languages are an advantage in serving international clients.
