Junior Sales Executive
Location: Hamstreet, Ashford, Kent
Salary: £28,000 basic plus a discretionary performance-related incentive
Job type: Full-time, permanent and fully office-based
Windsor Food Machinery supplies and supports food processing and packaging machinery for customers across the UK.
We are looking for a Junior Sales Executive to join our established sales team. This is a fully office-based position at our premises in Hamstreet. It is not a field sales or hybrid role.
You will respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, follow up sales opportunities and build relationships with new and existing customers.
You do not need previous experience in food machinery. Full product and industry training will be provided. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, confidence and willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities:
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Understanding customers’ requirements and helping identify suitable solutions
- Preparing quotations and following them through to an outcome
- Following up new leads, previous enquiries and outstanding quotations
- Making outbound calls to existing and prospective customers
- Building long-term relationships with customers
- Keeping customer and sales information accurate and up to date
- Working closely with our sales, service and parts teams
- Developing a good understanding of our machinery range and the industries we support
What we are looking for:
- Articulate, with clear written and verbal communication skills
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- A positive and determined approach to sales
- Someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable following up opportunities
- Good general computer skills
- A genuine interest in learning about technical products
- Previous sales or customer service experience would be helpful but is not essential
