Role Summary

The Junior Sales Executive drives revenue growth by identifying and engaging new business opportunities within the Professional Services sector. This role is designed for a high-energy, relentless individual who thrives on hitting targets and maximizing commission through proactive, high-volume outreach. Based in Birmingham on a hybrid schedule, this full-time position serves as the engine of the sales pipeline, with success measured by lead qualification rates and meeting conversion metrics.

Work Setup & Collaboration

  • Hybrid Schedule: Requires consistent on-site presence at the Birmingham office to foster a high-energy team culture and facilitate real-time coaching.
  • High Autonomy: Operates with significant independence in daily activity management, requiring a self-starter who does not need constant supervision to maintain momentum.
  • Direct Collaboration: Works closely with Senior Sales Executives to transition qualified prospects and refine pitch strategies based on market feedback.
  • Process Rigor: Follows established professional services compliance standards while maintaining the speed and agility of a growth-oriented sales team.

What You'll Do

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calling, social selling, and email to identify new business opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound inquiries and prospect leads to ensure they meet the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) before booking demos.
  • Manage and expand a robust sales pipeline using the CRM, ensuring all lead data and interactions are meticulously documented.
  • Identify key decision-makers within target organizations through deep-dive research and strategic networking.
  • Support the full sales lifecycle by assisting senior staff with proposals, follow-ups, and administrative tasks to ensure deal velocity.
  • Attend client meetings and product demonstrations to learn advanced closing techniques and industry-specific value propositions.
  • Take full ownership of daily activity targets, ensuring consistent output across calls, emails, and LinkedIn touchpoints.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and operations to align outreach messaging with current service offerings.

Success Indicators

  • Achieve daily activity KPIs (e.g., 60+ outbound touchpoints) consistently.
  • Secure a target number of qualified discovery meetings or demos per month (e.g., 10-15).
  • Maintain a CRM data accuracy rate of 95% or higher for all lead and opportunity records.
  • Meet or exceed monthly pipeline generation quotas to support the team’s overall revenue goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record in high-intensity sales environments such as Charity Fundraising, Door-to-Door, or Telesales.
  • Experience in commission-only or high-variable pay structures, demonstrating a drive for financial rewards and performance-based results.
  • Relentless "hunter" mindset with a high tolerance for rejection and the resilience to bounce back quickly.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders over the phone.
  • Local to Birmingham with the ability to work from the office on a regular basis.
  • Strong self-management skills to maintain high activity levels in a hybrid work environment.
  • 0–2 years of sales experience, ideally within a target-driven B2B or high-volume B2C context.
