Junior Sales Executive

Location: Golborne

Salary: Up to £40,000 + 10% annual bonus (DOE)

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Junior Sales Executive to join a fast-paced FMCG environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is looking to develop their skills across both account management and new business development.

You will play a key role in supporting existing customer relationships while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, you will help drive revenue growth and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of existing customer accounts, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound activity, networking, and inbound enquiries
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, pricing requests, and tenders
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently, escalating where required
  • Build strong customer relationships and understand client needs to deliver tailored solutions
  • Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry events where required
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, sharing insights with the wider team
  • Maintain accurate records and activity within internal systems (ERP/CRM)
  • Support general sales administration and reporting

What We Are Looking For

  • 1-3 years experience in FMCG sales (essential)
  • Proven experience in both account management and new business development
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a commercial mindset
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using ERP or CRM systems is desirable
  • Degree educated (preferred but not essential)
