Position Title: Junior Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Location: Based in Leeds – Head Office

Reports To: Sales Director

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing client accounts, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth while maintaining strong relationships with customers. This entry-level position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Sales Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Prepare sales presentations and assist in delivering them to clients.
  • Support the sales team in achieving individual and group sales targets.

Account Management

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client accounts and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Monitor account performance and prepare reports on key metrics.
  • Assist in the renewal processes for existing contracts.

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and potential client segments.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals and contracts.
  • Coordinate meetings and follow up on action items.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or account management is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
