Junior Salesforce Developer

At Gen25 we are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Salesforce Developer to join our growing delivery team in London. This role is ideal for a recent Computer Science / Software Engineering graduate or an early-career developer with little to no prior Salesforce experience, but who possesses a foundational understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (such as Python, Java, C#, or similar languages).

We will provide training, mentorship, and support to help you achieve your official Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I credentials and grow into a skilled Salesforce Developer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Platform Development: Learn to design, code, and deploy custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex (an object-oriented language closely resembling Java), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Declarative Configuration: Embrace Gen25’s "clicks before code" philosophy by configuring standard Salesforce features (Flows, Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Security/Sharing Models) alongside programmatic development.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Participate in our structured Quality Assurance process by writing automated unit test classes, supporting peer code reviews, and maintaining high test coverage.
  • System Integration: Assist senior developers and architects in integrating Salesforce with external APIs and enterprise systems (REST/SOAP, JSON).
  • Agile Project Delivery: Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Demos, Retrospectives) and collaborate closely with Salesforce Consultants, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
  • Continuous Learning: Rapidly pick up Salesforce platform capabilities with additional focus on AI and Agentforce, best practices, and work towards industry certifications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
