Junior Service Engineer (Training on CNC Machines)
£35,000 - £40,000 + Company Car + Full Training + Overseas Opportunities + Progression + 33 Days Holiday
Location: Oxford, Field Based
Are you someone who's recently completed an NVQ, HND with or similar with electrical and mechanical knowledge looking to become a Service Engineer within an CNC Machine OEM who can offer training courses to become a technical expert?
Do you want a field-based role working around the UK that offers in-depth training at a state of the art facility in Spain on controls programming, commissioning and more?
In this role you will be working around the UK servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing state-of-the-art CNC Lathes. You will be trained to become fully familiar with complex control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators and fault-finding. The work week is 40 hours, and you'll have time off in lieu for any time worked over this. The company supports its engineers through structured development and yearly appraisals.

This company design and manufacture highly complex CNC machines with over 700 installed across the UK. They pride themselves on their innovation and excellent OEM support which you will be a part of.
This role would suit a Junior or aspiring Service Engineer with a foundation in electrical and mechanical maintenance looking for a field-based position that offers in-depth training to become a technical expert.
The Role:
- Travelling to customer sites around the UK, within 3 hours of home
- Staying away if required for larger jobs, sometimes 2-3 nights a week
- Funded courses and induction training in Spain
- Opportunities to cover international subsidiaries in Europe and America
- 40 hour work week, door-to-door, with time in lieu for excess
- Structured development and salary increases
The Person:
- Junior or aspiring Service Engineer
- Mechanical and Electrical understanding (NVQ, HNC, HND or similar)
- Full UK Driving License and willing to work away from home
