Junior ServiceNow Consultant
YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR CTC CLEARANCE. TO BE ELIGIBLE YOU MUST HAVE LIVED IN THE UK FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS.

At Version 1, we're looking for ambitious and motivated early-career technologists to join our Enterprise Applications Service Management team as Junior ServiceNow Developers.
You don't need previous ServiceNow experience.
What matters is your enthusiasm for technology, willingness to learn, and desire to build a long-term consulting career.
From day one, you'll receive structured training, mentoring from experienced consultants, and hands-on experience working on real client projects.
We'll support you through professional certifications and give you the tools, knowledge, and experience needed to develop into a successful ServiceNow Consultant.
Whether you're a recent graduate, career changer, or aspiring developer with a passion for technology, this programme is designed to help you succeed.
What You'll Learn
As part of your development journey, you'll gain experience across:
- ServiceNow platform administration and configuration
- IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices
- Workflow automation and business process improvement
- ServiceNow application support and maintenance
- REST APIs and platform integrations
- Oracle Fusion Cloud fundamentals across ERP and HCM
- Software development and scripting concepts
- Agile delivery methodologies
- Platform security, governance, and quality assurance
- Version control using Git
- Technical documentation and solution design
What You'll Do
Working alongside experienced consultants and technical specialists, you will:

- Support the configuration and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform
- Assist in maintaining platform stability, performance, and usability
- Help investigate and resolve incidents and service requests
- Contribute to software releases, platform improvements, and new functionality
- Participate in client workshops and requirements gathering activities
- Support the creation of technical documentation and user stories
- Learn best practices in platform administration, development, and governance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary delivery teams on enterprise-scale programmes
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge through training and certifications
As your skills grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility and progress towards independently delivering solutions for our clients.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in your potential than your experience.
Essential
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, OR demonstrable technical aptitude gained through projects, apprenticeships, bootcamps, or self-directed learning
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, Java, SQL, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology and continuous learning
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Exposure to Service Desk or ITSM platforms
- Knowledge of APIs, cloud technologies, or reporting tools
- Previous internship, placement year, apprenticeship, or technical project experience
- Awareness of Agile delivery practices
