Junior Charge Nurse Role in Cardiac and Stroke Receiving Unit (CSRU) at Wycombe

A rare opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual with a cardiology background to join our team in the Cardiac and Stroke Receiving Unit (CSRU) at Wycombe as a Junior Charge Nurse role.

About CSRU

CSRU was established in 2012 as a specialist unit providing emergency care to people with cardiac and stroke symptoms. The service offers 24hr admission, assessment, and treatment for a wide range of conditions, we also offer a Monday to Friday PPCI service to the people living in the county of Buckinghamshire and a Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy service 24/7.

Role Responsibilities

Within this role, the successful applicant will:

  • Coordinate the shift
  • Support junior staff
  • Provide expert knowledge where needed

Part of their daily responsibilities will also involve working in a supportive role alongside the stroke nurses ensuring that we deliver the highest possible care to all service users.
