Junior Social Commerce Executive
Location: Remote in the UK
Full time/Permanent
Nonsensical is the UK's leading TikTok agency.
Due to our continued growth, we're looking for a Junior Social Commerce Executive to join our fast-growing Social Commerce team.
This is a brilliant entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in TikTok Shop and social commerce. You'll work closely with our Account Managers and Senior Account Managers, supporting the day-to-day running of TikTok Shop accounts for some exciting brands.
From approving creator samples and uploading product information to supporting affiliate activity, keeping TikTok Shops up to date and helping the team prepare for campaigns and Lives, you'll get hands-on experience across all areas of social commerce.
You don't need to come in knowing everything about TikTok Shop; we're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, commercially curious and excited to learn.
If you love TikTok, are interested in e-commerce and social commerce, and want to build your career in one of the fastest-growing areas of digital marketing, we'd love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support Account Managers and Senior Account Managers with the day-to-day management of client TikTok Shop accounts.
- Help keep TikTok Shops accurate and up to date, including uploading products, updating product information, checking listings and supporting product optimisation.
- Manage and approve creator sample requests, ensuring products are sent to relevant creators and activity is tracked accurately.
- Support the team with affiliate and creator management, including creator outreach, communication, product seeding and keeping trackers up to date.
- Help monitor creator activity and follow up on outstanding content or agreed deliverables.
- Support with the set-up and day-to-day management of TikTok Shop campaigns, promotions and affiliate activity.
- Assist with preparations for TikTok Shop LIVE activity, shoots and other social commerce campaigns.
- Keep client trackers, product information and internal systems organised and accurate.
- Pull together performance data and information to support Account Managers with client reporting.
- Monitor TikTok Shop activity and flag any issues, changes or opportunities to the relevant Account Manager.
- Stay curious about TikTok Shop, social commerce and creator-led selling, building your knowledge and confidence as you develop in the role.
- Work closely with the wider Social Commerce team to make sure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Are Looking For
This is a junior/entry-level position, so we're not looking for years of agency or TikTok Shop experience. We're much more interested in your potential, attitude and willingness to learn.

- Some understanding of TikTok Shop or e-commerce would be great, whether that's through work, university, your own TikTok use or personal projects.
- Comfortable using digital platforms and learning new systems quickly.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail – you'll be working across lots of products, creators and tasks.
- Confident managing your own workload and asking questions when you need support.
- Proactive and happy to get stuck into the detail.
- Comfortable working at pace and adapting when priorities change.
- Good written communication skills and confidence communicating with colleagues and creators.
- Curious about what makes products sell through TikTok and why certain creators and content perform.
- A team player who enjoys supporting others and wants to develop within a fast-growing team.
- Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, social media, customer service, administration or marketing could be helpful, but isn't essential.
