Junior Software Developer (Remote)

Overview

CV-BRIDGE LTD is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our remote UK-based team.

This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their software development career who has a strong technical foundation, enjoys solving problems and is keen to build practical experience working on real digital products and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of web-based applications
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-structured code
  • Assist with debugging, testing and resolving software issues
  • Work with APIs, databases and front-end or back-end components
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members on new features
  • Participate in code reviews and development discussions
  • Help maintain technical documentation
  • Learn and apply modern development practices and tools
  • Support continuous improvement across development workflows

Requirements

  • Strong interest in software development and technology
  • Good understanding of programming fundamentals
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Basic knowledge of Git and version control
  • Understanding of APIs, databases or SQL is beneficial
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to communicate clearly and work effectively in a remote environment
  • Personal projects, academic projects, internships or previous development experience are beneficial
