Junior Software Engineer
Location: Remote (UK)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Training: Full Training Provided

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Software Engineer/ Developer to support the development, testing and maintenance of software applications. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an early-career developer looking to build practical experience and progress within a supportive development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and maintaining software applications.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Support debugging, testing and troubleshooting.
- Work with senior developers on new features and improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and development meetings.
- Assist with database and API integrations.
- Investigate and resolve software issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and development records.

Requirements
- Basic programming knowledge in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java or C#.
- Understanding of software development principles and version control.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and development tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Degree, bootcamp, qualification or relevant practical experience is beneficial.
- Previous commercial experience is desirable but not essential.
