An innovative technology organisation in the transport sector is looking for a Junior Software Engineer

The successful candidate will join a growing engineering team to build products that solve real-world challenges using machine learning and modern software engineering practices.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing backend services and APIs using Python and Node.js
  • Working with PostgreSQL, SQL, and MongoDB databases
  • Contributing to React-based frontend applications
  • Supporting the training and deployment of commercial machine learning models
  • Deploying and maintaining applications using AWS cloud infrastructure

What we're looking for

  • Approximately 1 to 2 years of commercial software development experience
  • Commercial experience with Python or Node.js
  • Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Practical commercial exposure to machine learning projects and deployments
  • Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom
