An innovative technology organisation in the transport sector is looking for a Junior Software Engineer
The successful candidate will join a growing engineering team to build products that solve real-world challenges using machine learning and modern software engineering practices.
What you'll be doing
- Developing backend services and APIs using Python and Node.js
- Working with PostgreSQL, SQL, and MongoDB databases
- Contributing to React-based frontend applications
- Supporting the training and deployment of commercial machine learning models
- Deploying and maintaining applications using AWS cloud infrastructure

What we're looking for
- Approximately 1 to 2 years of commercial software development experience
- Commercial experience with Python or Node.js
- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Practical commercial exposure to machine learning projects and deployments
- Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom
