We're hiring for a leading financial technology company that is building and scaling a modern, next-generation data platform. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring engineer with a strong computer science foundation to specialize in data engineering and gain hands-on experience with a cutting-edge cloud stack.
The Role
- Assist in the design and maintenance of scalable data ingestion and processing systems using ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Learn to deploy and manage cloud resources on a major cloud platform, including services for messaging, data warehousing, and storage.
- Collaborate with BI, infrastructure, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Contribute to building and documenting APIs that provide a seamless data experience for stakeholders.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing schemas and writing efficient queries.
- Support the development and maintenance of a reliable billing architecture within an event-driven environment.

What You'll Need
- 2-3 years of experience in programming language development, including internships or intensive projects.
- Academic or professional exposure to SQL, including writing queries and understanding basic schema design.
- Familiarity with Git and a basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- A proactive approach to debugging and a curiosity about data flow within systems.
- A basic understanding of REST APIs and microservice communication.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
