Are you ready to make your mark in the world of Formula 1?

At Formula 1, we are passionate about delivering the world’s greatest sports and entertainment spectacle leaving a positive legacy wherever we race. Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do ever since our first Grand Prix in 1950. Now, more than 75 years on, the sport remains a pioneer, developing technologies that have made a significant impact on society beyond the track.

Everything you see on screen or at an event comes via our passionate and dedicated people. Whether it's engineering, broadcast, legal, logistics, security, event management, commercial, media rights, marketing, or communications there is always a talented team working to maximise the potential of the sport.

Working alongside Business Analysts, Test Managers, and external partners, you will design and execute test cases, coordinate UAT, manage test devices, and assist with defect resolution across web, mobile, and Connected TV. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the full delivery lifecycle, helping ship seamless experiences to millions of fans worldwide.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Test Design & Execution: Design and execute functional, regression, exploratory, and smoke test suites across web, mobile, and Connected TV (Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, Smart TVs).
  • Requirements Traceability: Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage from requirement through to release.
  • Core User Journeys: Validate end-to-end flows including authentication, subscriptions, payments, live content delivery, and interactive/AI-driven fan engagement features.
  • Test Management & Tooling: Manage test cases, runs, and reporting within Testmo (or similar test management tools).
  • Device Lab & Build Distribution: Maintain the physical device lab and manage pre-release build deployments using TestFlight and Firebase App Distribution.
  • Defect Lifecycle: Log clear, reproducible defects in Jira with complete diagnostic evidence (network/browser logs, screen captures) and participate in triage with internal teams and third-party partners.
  • UAT & Accessibility: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and conduct accessibility testing against established WCAG standards.
  • Release & Live Support: Conduct live release verification and smoke testing, including occasional out-of-hours and race-weekend coverage.
  • Performance & Quality Monitoring: Monitor app stability and performance, surfacing risks and contributing to continuous QA process improvements.
  • Governance & Reporting: Maintain accurate test documentation and adhere to team quality frameworks, security standards, and confidentiality policies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
