L'Enclume

L’Enclume located in the beautiful village of Cartmel in the Lake District has been awarded 3 Michelin stars, 1 Michelin Green star, 5AA Rosettes and voted #2 restaurant in the world by La Liste 2026.

We pride ourselves on serving exceptional local and seasonal ingredients via our carefully curated tasting menus and delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. We are open 5 days a week for Dinner – Tuesday – Saturday and for Lunch - Friday – Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Sommelier to join our team in Cartmel. Our wine cellar at L’Enclume combines small growers with big names including various hidden gems from around the world. Our wine team cleverly pair unique styles of wine with our award winning food, and guide our guests through our extensive wine list with in-depth knowledge and passion.

We are keen to hear from Sommelier’s with experience in a similar high quality environment, ideally qualified to WSET Level 2 and above all a passion for wine, liquor and champagne.
