Amazonico London is searching for a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in the heart of Mayfair.

Located on the iconic Berkeley Square, Amazonico brings the vibrant spirit of Latin America to life where immersive dining, a lively atmosphere, and luxury hospitality meet in a world-class setting.

We’re now seeking a skilled Junior Sous Chef who thrives in high-energy, high-end environments and is ready to support and inspire a team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences every day.

About the Role – What You’ll Do

As a Junior Sous Chef at Amazonico, you’ll support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing kitchen operations while ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You’ll help lead and develop the team, contribute to menu creativity, and play a key role in delivering outstanding dining experiences.

You will:

  • Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
  • Ensure the highest levels of food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Support with training and mentoring junior chefs
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Contribute to menu development and innovation
  • Help manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen organisation
  • Lead by example during service and support the team with a hands-on approach

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie in a premium or luxury hospitality venue
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for high-quality food, presentation, and consistency
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A team-focused mindset and a drive to grow professionally
  • Good understanding of food safety and kitchen management
