Junior Sous Chef

North London | Up to £45,000 | Immediate Start

This is a rare opportunity to join a 70-cover luxury restaurant serving modern European cuisine, led by a highly regarded and successful Chef Patron. The restaurant is known for its exceptional standards and is one of the hardest reservations to secure in London.

The Head Chef is looking for a mature, highly driven and technically accomplished chef who has mastered all sections of the kitchen and takes genuine pride in maintaining consistently exceptional standards.

The Role

As Junior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef and senior brigade to ensure precision, consistency and quality across every service.

You will be expected to:

  • Have mastered all sections of a professional kitchen and be confident leading by example.
  • Maintain exceptionally high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
  • Be highly process-driven, organised and attentive to detail.
  • Support and develop the wider kitchen team.
  • Assist with the smooth running of service and kitchen operations.
  • Uphold the exacting standards expected within a luxury dining environment.
  • Demonstrate consistency, reliability and a genuine commitment to the restaurant.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
