Job Description
Salary: £15 per hour
Working schedule: 5 days over 7
Contract: Full time, Permanent
About the Junior sous chef role
- To oversee and assist in the preparation and presentation of all meals and service across all catering and events.
- To lead and drive the brigade team in the planning and development of menus, dishes and concepts.
- To provide guidance to the junior chefs and porters.
- To be responsible for managing food production.
- To control each section's food storage area.
- To adhere to food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard.

Qualifications
- Support Head/sous Chef in creating a professional working environment for the team ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met.
- Previous experience as Chef working with high volume kitchen and in Events.
- Excellent mentoring and communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving and excellent understanding of Health and Safety practices.
