Salary: £34,000 plus tronc

Your main responsibility as Junior Sous Chef will be to assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the management and running of the kitchen ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. You will need to be driven and highly motivated to ensure a positive working environment for the team.
Other key responsibilities as Junior Sous Chef include;
- Supporting with menu development and design taking into account the nutritional requirement of Champneys healthy eating cuisine.
- Responsible for the preparation and presentation of our buffets and food on the menus.
- Taking responsibility for the management and running of the Kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef/Sous Chef including supervising of staff.
- Maintain & improve standard of service and operating standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
- To maintain a high level of cleanliness in the Kitchen ensuring compliance with legislative standards.
