Join Our Creative Kitchen at Brat Climpson's Arch
Nestled in the heart of Hackney, Brat Climpson's Arch started as a temporary pop-up during lockdown and has since blossomed into a vibrant, permanent neighbourhood restaurant. Our space is dynamic and ever-evolving, perfect for hosting private events and exciting collaborations with our friends in the industry. We believe in fostering creativity, not just on the plate, but throughout our entire team.
We work hand-in-hand with British farmers and fishermen like Flourish Produce and Phillip Warrens, ensuring our produce is always of the highest quality. We're passionate about our relationships with these suppliers, and we're equally committed to passing this passion on to our team.
We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef ready to bring their passion for produce and leadership skills to our kitchen. If you're eager to grow, manage a busy section, and contribute to a team-focused, creative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
