About COMO The Halkin
COMO The Halkin is a 41 bedroom hotel conceived as a cocooning ‘Home from Home’ on a quiet street in London Belgravia. The classic proportions, arched windows and Georgian brick exteriors matched with elegant interiors create a feel of a private home.
What Will You Do
- Working with the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing the team, assisting with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stock rotation.
- Supervising the kitchen brigade on a daily basis.
- Providing guidance to junior chefs, including but not limited to, cooking, food preparation, and plating dishes.
- Ensuring quality and consistency by following designated recipes.
- Participating in training and maximizing the opportunities for the ongoing development of junior chefs to prepare them for more responsibility.

Who You Are
- Excellent motivator and someone who clearly leads by example.
- Has a drive to succeed and a clear passion for food.
- A successful candidate will enjoy taking responsibility and delivering results.
- You must be proactive and possess excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience of working in a hotel environment is ideal.
- Able to work a variety of different shifts, which will include: weekends, early starts, and late finishes.
