Job Description

As a Junior Sous Chef you will be a flexible member of the team focused on our Bistro Enkel. Ensuring standards of service are met and delivered daily.

A key member of the team supporting senior chefs, someone who is self-motivated and ready to be part of an award-winning team, able to work alone and as part of a team.

With a primary focus of looking after our Bistro Enkel, from menu development to standards of service. The successful candidate will also assist with breakfast and preparation within the Cedar Tree as required.

You will have understanding of food, temperatures, textures, seasonality as well as organisation skills.

  • Able to work on all sections of the kitchen operations.
  • Support senior chefs in the onboarding/training of junior chefs.
  • Maintain a clean working environment throughout the day.
  • Ensure food safety standards are adhered to.
  • A full understanding of the 14 main allergens.
  • Has an understanding of stock rotation.
  • Experience in AA rosettes restaurant is beneficial for this job.

Working Saturday to Wednesday, 45 hours per week.
