Junior Sous Chef

The Junior Sous Chef is a pivotal role in leading the kitchen team to culinary excellence at Bluebird City.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coaching kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety protocols
  • Commanding the pass during busy service periods
  • Providing support to chefs on various kitchen sections
  • Ensuring efficient food preparation and timely service
  • Overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Maintaining quality and consistency
  • Monitoring inventory levels
  • Optimizing cost control through ADACO-assisted stock ordering
  • Minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
  • Upholding impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to address customer feedback
  • Ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests
