As IT Assistant, you assist in maintaining the day to day within the company, whether it’s maintaining our servers or something which requires a little more problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day support to the wider Pricecheck team, monitoring Fresh Service tickets.
  • Prioritising, progressing, and monitoring IT incidents and requests to ensure they are resolved within the agreed timescales.
  • Liaising across departments to integrate IT solutions and provide varied assistance and support.
  • Resolving desktop/laptop/printer/application issues and basic network/server troubleshooting with administration.
  • Working independently or as part of a team to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Daily, weekly, and quarterly checks.
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Talk colleagues through various actions as required, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Replace parts as required.
  • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications.
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
  • Respond within agreed SLA within Fresh Service enquiries.
  • Work continuously on a task until completion.
  • Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.
